Integrating AI simulations into your LMS: a SCORM guide
SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, or xAPI? Everything you need to know to integrate AI simulations into your existing LMS platform — without a costly migration.
SCORM compatibility is usually the first question our LMS prospects ask. Good news: Miikaa exports natively to SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004, the two most widespread formats in the industry.
SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) is the standard that lets a training module communicate with an LMS: time spent, score, completion status. Every serious LMS supports it — Moodle, Cornerstone, TalentLMS, LearnUpon, Docebo, and more.
Integration is simple: create your scenario in Miikaa, export it as a SCORM package (.zip), and import it into your LMS like any other module. The AI simulation runs entirely in the learner's browser — no data passes through your servers.
For organizations already on xAPI (Tin Can), we also provide an xAPI wrapper that records detailed interactions in your LRS. You get rich analytics on learner behavior during simulations.
Our technical team supports every customer through integration. Most of our clients are up and running in under a week.
